Muftar’s logistics platform uses role-based permissions to streamline access and ensure that each user can only perform tasks relevant to their role. This feature helps prevent unauthorized actions while optimizing workflow efficiency.

Roles and Permissions Breakdown:

  1. Drivers:

    • Access: View assigned shipments, update status (e.g., pick-up, en route, delivered), check delivery routes.

    • Actions: Mark loads as complete, communicate with dispatchers, view payment and route details.

  2. Dispatchers:

    • Access: View all active and pending shipments, driver availability, and equipment status.

    • Actions: Assign shipments to drivers, reroute drivers based on traffic or delivery priority, and communicate with drivers.

  3. Fleet Managers:

    • Access: Complete overview of all logistics operations, driver performance metrics, shipment history, and equipment usage.

    • Actions: Analyze data trends, optimize fleet performance, oversee driver assignments, and make high-level strategic decisions.

  4. Admin/Management:

    • Access: Full control of the platform, including billing, user management, and system settings.

    • Actions: Create and manage user roles, handle billing and subscriptions, oversee company-wide operations, and access system analytics for informed decision-making.

Why Role-Based Permissions Matter in Logistics: By limiting access based on roles, Muftar ensures that the platform remains secure and efficient. Only relevant users can access critical information, reducing the risk of data breaches and improving operational productivity.
